EDGE: English & Digital for Girls’ Education

EDGE is a skill development project for underserved young girls that focuses on equipping them with 21st century skills, especially linguistic (English) skills, digital skills and social skills, thus enabling them to thrive in the emerging technological era. With the use of a “Peer-led” model, the program trains girls as Peer Group Leaders (PGLs) who later deliver and disseminate the knowledge to their counterparts.

Going forward, the project aims to reach 1200 young girls from marginalized communities in pursuit of ensuring a sustainable future for them all.

The project is supported by British Council Bangladesh.
